Client:   CIMA

CIMA
  The Brief:
CIMA is the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants with more than 57,000 members and 74,000 students in 156 countries.

Happyworm has been chosen to support CIMA in a marketing initiative aimed at students by building brand awareness and creating interest in Management Accountancy as a career option.

Happyworm produced the design for the printed leaflet which has been included in the student pack distributed to 2nd year accounting students at selected universities throughout the UK.
 

The Project:
Happyworm succeded in creating a design presenting Management Accounting as a dynamic and interesting career choice, nullifying the traditional number-crunching perception and conveying the CIMA brand values to the target audience.


Client:   Miaow

The Brief:

To design the album sleeve and visual identity for the new band Miaow.


  The Project:
Starting from an original photograph of the band's cat, Happyworm created a series of images by manipulating the photo and experimenting with different effects. The most fashinating and mysterious images were then chosen as the imagery for the album sleeve.

Miaow - Illustrations
 

The Brief:
Create the illustrations for the website promoting new band Miaow.

  The Project:
Inspired by songs from the album, Happyworm created a series of characters and settings to capture the atmosphere of Miaow music.

Executive Agenda Brochure 2003
 

The Brief:
To design the brochure for the training event 'Excutive Agenda' 2003.


  The Project:
Expanding upon the design Happyworm created for the Executive Agenda 2002 brochure, enhancements were made to the layout and presentation.

Client:   Saturnus

Saturnus - Logo
  The Brief:
Embarking on an exciting new venture into the world of exhibiting and incubating sculptors and their works, Saturnus' founders were keen to convey an image of modern thinking along with traditional craftmanship in the organisation's branding.

  The Project:
Starting from photographing a stone wheel, which was chosen as Saturnus' symbol, Happyworm interpreted and refined the image to become a representation of the relationship between art and nature, simplicity and completeness.

Coupling the roundness and roughness of the wheel with a severe latin font and quality rustic paper, Happyworm delivered a crisp and elegant image for the art association.

Executive Agenda - Brochure
 
The Brief:
To design a new branding for the training event 'Excutive Agenda' organized every year by our client and to create an eye-catching 4 page brochure to be sent to 3000 potential applicants.

The Project:
Happyworm created a new identity for Executive Agenda including a new logo which was then used to influence the design of the brochure.
  Clever use of white space and professional contemporary imagery was used to portray the Executive Agenda as a dynamic modern forward-thinking course for executives.

The challenge was to fit all the required information onto 4 A4 pages and preserve a feeling of space and unclutteredness. Adobe Illustrator 9 and Adobe Photoshop 6 were used to design the brochure with images acquired from a third party.

Client:   Bank of Scotland - Halifax

HBOS - POD report
  The Brief:
Happyworm was asked to design the report document for the company's Human Resources Intranet, POD.

The challenge was to represent in a simple and clear way detailed information on the features, benefits and technical aspects, to a broad and potentially non-technical audience.
  The Project:
Happyworm designed an impressive layout to engage the readers' curiosity and to present information in a precise and structured manner.

Making the document in line with the Intranet look and feel was another successful aspect of the designing process, turning the report into a powerful promotional document.

  The Brief:
To create a new, fresh and inspiring branding for the latest edition of the client's flagship product. The design was created around the previously existing product's logos.
  The Project:
Concentrating on the increased functionality of the products, Happyworm created a series of designs to convey the full potential of the new release.

Evoluzione - Brochure
  The Brief:
To design the project division's logo, identity and promotional brochure.
  The Project:
After designing the logo to represent this dynamic and fast growing division, Happyworm won the challenge to create a brochure for a prestigious conference. The material stood out from others and effectively captured the visitors attention, leading them through a path of discovery. Happyworm was responsible for design, layout and content development.
